At Baywater Healthcare, we are committed to supporting the local and wider community in which we operate. We have a company policy that assists volunteer-run groups that encourage positive physical and mental wellbeing.
We are pleased to announce that we have recently sponsored Manchester Spartans Netball Club. Established in 2020, the club was created to help to develop Men’s and Mixed Netball in the North of England. Since being created, Spartans Netball Club has created a space for over 50 men and women to play at an elite level, competing against Women’s Super League teams and international teams, including Jamaica, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England.
Previously, the players funded the club. The players travel all over the country playing sports and spreading awareness of Netball and the positive impact that it can have on both mental and physical health. Our donation is being used to purchase training equipment and assist with payment for the training venue, plus the development of players in the area.
With our support, the club plans to develop its coaches and players and hopefully inspire more people to participate in Netball and represent Spartans and their country.
