We are delighted to share that we have been selected as finalists for the AHSN (Academic Health Science Networks) Awards. We are a finalist in the category ‘Outstanding Collaboration with Industry’ for our collaboration with NHS Gloucestershire CCG to deliver a COVID Virtual Ward.
The COVID Virtual Ward was set up in 2020 due to the pandemic. The Virtual Ward supports people who have tested positive for COVID-19 in their own homes. Patients are monitored through pulse oximeter readings; the information recorded from the readings is used to offer vital specialist support towards patients making a full recovery after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
The Virtual Ward is simple and fast to set up. It offers a cost-effective and easy-to-commission solution to support our NHS with the pressures it has faced during the pandemic. To find out more about the COVID Virtual Ward, check out the video in the link below.
