Baywater Healthcare have today been acquired by Healthcare specialist The Bastide Group. The deal comes four years after a management buyout of the business from Air Products PLC with investment backing from Duke Street.
The Bastide Group operate across Europe providing a broad range of healthcare services in respiratory care, homecare, infusion and nutrition services. The company serve over 300,000 patients employing 1,800 employees. Founded in 1977 by current Chairman Guy Bastide, the business was floated in 1997, with the majority of the company remaining under the family’s ownership.
The Bastide Group are committed to retaining the identity and culture of Baywater Healthcare, recognising the calibre of the management team and the employees. Commenting on the acquisition Bastide Group CEO Vincent Bastide stated “On discovering Baywater Healthcare we were immediately impressed by its expertise and customer satisfaction levels. The company is managed by a great team. We want to help Baywater grow and improve further, together we will work to make our group one of the best home healthcare providers in Europe.”

The existing management team will remain with the company and the business will continue to trade under the Baywater Healthcare brand.
