Baywater Healthcare Appoints Commercial Director to Support Growth Plans

4th November 2014

Baywater Healthcare, a specialist provider of homecare services to NHS patients living with long term conditions, has appointed Diane Gray as its new commercial director.  The appointment has bolstered Baywater Healthcare’s senior leadership team as it pursues new growth plans in its homecare services.

Diane has a wealth of experience in the healthcare sector, having held positions directly within and outside of the NHS. Diane originally qualified as a registered nurse before moving into the pharmaceutical industry and then spent nine years as a sales director with The Harley Medical Group.

Following this, she spent four years as business manager for the NHS within Warwickshire Primary Care Trust.

Most recently, Diane has held director level appointments at Alliance Medical and Care UK, helping them to achieve success in the private healthcare sector.

In her new role, she will be looking to strengthen Baywater Healthcare’s current Home Oxygen Service provision as well as expanding the company’s other integrated respiratory homecare services and managed telehealth telehealth programmes.

Commenting on her appointment, Diane Gray said: “I am thrilled to be starting my new role as commercial director and to be contributing to the excellent work already being carried out at Baywater Healthcare.

I am passionate about developing healthcare services that provide high quality, integrated care to patients, whilst also remaining cost-effective for the NHS. Baywater is well positioned to provide this crucial balance – both in terms of its current home oxygen service delivery and its wider homecare services.”

Adam Sullivan, chief executive at Baywater Healthcare commented on Diane Gray’s appointment: “I speak on behalf of the whole company in welcoming Diane to the Baywater Healthcare team and believe that her experience will help the company move forward in what is an exciting and high-growth period for us.

Her wealth of experience will not only allow us to identify potential opportunities, but also to navigate through the challenges of a competitive healthcare environment. Diane will be a huge asset to the team and we look forward to her helping in growing our respiratory services and further expansion into telehealth.”

Baywater Healthcare is an independent specialist provider of homecare services to patients with long term conditions. Working in partnership with the NHS in regions across England and Wales, it currently supports nearly 25,000 patients.
