The service will transfer to Baywater Healthcare on February 1st, 2025. Until then, please continue to contact BOC for your Home Oxygen needs.
We will contact you with more information and a welcome pack as we get nearer to February 1st, 2025.
What do I need to do?
You do not need to do anything. Your details will be sent to us via a secure method closer to the time, and your service will continue just as it is now. Common questions
When should I contact Baywater Healthcare rather than my current oxygen supplier?
You will need to contact Baywater Healthcare from February 1st, 2025. We will send you lots of reminders and more information soon.
What is going to happen to my equipment?
Most oxygen equipment will remain the same. We will service and replace your equipment if your Healthcare Professional feels it no longer meets your needs.
Will my equipment stay the same?
The cylinders that we deliver will look different to what you have now, but they will be a similar size, weight and will offer the same flow rates. In most cases, other oxygen equipment will stay the same, such as oxygen machines. If we need to change your equipment, we will supply you with something similar to what you currently use and show you how to use it.
Will my driver be the same?
Your driver will likely remain the same. The technicians who currently visit you will transfer to Baywater Healthcare.
Will my deliveries be at the same time?
We will work hard to ensure as few changes as possible to delivery schedules. Most of the team delivering the oxygen will remain the same.
If you have a regular delivery set up, it will continue on the same day.
Will I have a new respiratory team/nurse?
There will be no change to your Healthcare Professional.
How will booking a holiday work?
Once your service transfers to us, call us two weeks before you travel for holidays or trips away from home inside the UK. If you are travelling abroad, speak to your Healthcare Professional and request equipment in the country you are travelling to.
Will you have all of my correct contact details?
Your current oxygen supplier will transfer your personal information to us through a secure data transfer. You will not need to do anything.
Will my electricity payments change?
We will continue to make your electricity payments as you receive them now.
Will you have my payment details?
Your current oxygen supplier will securely share your payment details with us.
What are your opening times?
Our Healthcare Helpline is available seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for standard calls such as questions or replacement cylinder requests. After this time, we remain available for urgent calls 24 hours daily.
Will I receive deliveries on a bank holiday?
We will provide you with information about bank holiday ordering in our patient magazine ‘Sunshine’ or via our social media accounts on Twitter and Facebook. Sunshine is sent three times a year by text message or post.
How can I order replacements for my oxygen cylinders?
You can continue to order from your current oxygen supplier until February 1st 2025. After this date, you can call our Healthcare Helpline or order online.
