The official website for the British Lung Foundation, supporting everyone affected by lung disease and campaigning for positive change in lung health. The British Lung Foundation website contains FAQs, publications, how to donate and general advice relating to lung disease.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust or 0300 373 1000

CF is the UK’s most common life-threatening inherited disease, the CF Trust is the UK’s only national charity dedicated to all aspects of Cystic Fibrosis. The site includes the latest news, research, information and how to donate.

Pulmonary Hypertension Association or 01709 761450

The Pulmonary Hypertension Association provides support, understanding and information for all those people whose lives are touched by pulmonary hypertension. The site contains information such as: what pulmonary hypertension is, living with it, how to cope and the latest news on pulmonary hypertension.


OUCH is the Organisation for the Understanding of Cluster Headaches. This website can offer support, information and advice for suffers and some information on the condition as a whole.

British Compressed Gases Association (BCGA)

BCGA’s Mission is to ensure safety in the use, storage, transportation and handling of gases. On this page are several leaflets that can be downloaded, including home oxygen, travelling with oxygen and oxygen fires.

European Lung Foundation

The potential problems associated with lung diseases and air travel are well recognised. Most people with lung conditions are now able to safely enjoy the benefits of air travel if they plan their provisions in advance.

In this database, airlines are listed alphabetically, detailing their individual oxygen policies for passengers. Contact details, including website address and Twitter usernames, are provided to give feedback directly to the airlines.
